For a great weekend away in autumn, come to the Mâconnais vineyard where the Rocks of Solutré and Vergisson left their mark on the landscapes centuries ago. Vincent and his family will welcome you to the winegrowing village of Fuissé to share their love of the land with you, over the weekend.
Day 1: Vroom vroom
A moped ride through the vines
There's no better way to begin your weekend away than exploring the golden vines in great company! The sound and smell of your vintage moped will take you back to your teenage years. Vincent will guide you along the little paths, that only he knows!
Take a selfie on your moped, with a glass of Burgundy wine in your hand and the iconic Rock of Solutré in the background.

For an alternative winemaking experience
Visit the Domaine
Then, Vincent will take you on a tour of his family-run estate. Created in the 1950s by his grandfather Maurice, Vincent now runs the estate himself.
He is a great believer of alternative winemaking, a blend of scientific and experimental knowledge. He works his 22 vine plots with passion.
Fans of Burgundy wines, we bet you'll remember these delicious 100% Chardonnay appellations for a long time: Mâcon-Chaintré, Saint-Véran and Pouilly-Fuissé.

Admire the 360° view
From the top of the Rock of Solutré, you'll have a breathtaking view. The peak stands at an altitude of 495 m and overlooks the Pouilly-Fuissé vines that stretch as far as the eye can see, as well as the Rock of Vergisson.
At the bottom of the rock, we recommend you go to admire the collections at the Musée de Préhistoire to find out all about this hunting site that was used 50,000 years ago! To get your dose of positive vibes, you could also participate in the hiking outings and yoga and pilates sessions on the Rock!
Chez Mamie Cocotte
Time for lunch!
Vincent then takes us for lunch at his traditional restaurant "Chez Mamie Cocotte", run by his wife and serving delicious traditional dishes that will take you back to your childhood. It smells so good, you'll be left wanting more. There is a friendly atmosphere here, just like at the time of the grape harvester banquets, you'll even be asked to go and pick your wine from the wine cellar!

To get the most out of tasting Vincent's great vintage wines with friends, we advise you to spend a night here. You can expect a peaceful overnight stay in a brand-new rental apartment. (Sleeps 4 + 2)

Visit the pretty town of Mâcon
Your stay here would not be complete without visiting the town of Mâcon, the most southern of the towns in Burgundy. The river Saône flows peacefully past the town, and you can take a leisurely stroll around the historic centre or along the riverbanks
